No, the Z1 is only available in one standard frame size (see dimensions below). The wheels are 700mm, or 27.5″. This size of bike is most suitable for people between approximately 5’ and 6’ tall, and has a weight limit of 120kg (rider + gear).
Zoomin customers can choose to have their bikes serviced by MeloYelo agents (for a fee), or by any bike mechanic of their choosing.

Zoomin bikes are made alongside MeloYelo bikes in our factory in Asia. The factory “making” Zoomin ebikes is actually an assembly plant, not a manufacturing plant.
Yes, as long as you return the bike at your cost within 14 days, in its original packaging undamaged.

The Zoomin Z1 comes with a phone mounting plate on the stem, the SP Connect. You would need to purchase a phone case for this, as all phones are slightly different sizes so we couldn’t include this.
Cases for the SP Connect are available through a number of tech stores in NZ and also online at Canyon Bikes.

Yes, they are. When an order is placed, the stock is sent from our warehouse in Taupo, New Zealand, meaning you should receive your bike within a few days, depending on where in the country you are.
No! If you purchase first, and are then lucky enough to win the Zoomin Z1 in our subscriber competition, we will either refund your purchase price or provide you with a second bike, your choice. Don’t wait too long, or you may miss out on the exclusive launch savings of $1,000 off!
We use the Mainfreight 2Home delivery service. Mainfreight will be in touch once your bike is ready for delivery, and you can select a date and time that works for you.
Currently, yes, but we will shortly have sample bikes available in Christchurch and Wellington too. Please contact [email protected] if you would like to arrange a viewing/test ride in one of these locations.
Zoomin ebikes are covered with a 2-year warranty, covering mechanical, electrical and frame. Zoomin is backed by MeloYelo, which has a 24/7 call centre – 0800 635 6935 – (staffed by real Kiwis) and agents around the country. Any MeloYelo agent or good bike store will be able to service and repair Zoomin ebikes.
Batteries can last between 500 and 1000 charging cycles, depending on storage and how the bike is used. Replacement batteries will be available from us for $570 each.
You can purchase it right here on our website, where you can select the colour of bike you wish to purchase, submit your order and pay either via credit/debit card or by internet banking. Finance is also available via MTF Finance, with details on our website.
